itunes 9/msn

Hi

I bought a new ipod nano this afternoon...and it basically MADE me update my itunes to this stupid new itunes 9 for my nano to work...I hate it, I have msn also, and i loved the fact that msn would show what song i was listening to via itunes....Since i have installed this new crap itunes, on msn it no longer shows what im listening too?

windows media player isnt open so i know thats not the prob...I tried enableing bonjour, as it says its disabled...even after enableing it...It still doesnt work

Its starting to get on my **** now

any ideas please?

I can't offer any help for your specific problem but of course it made you update to iTunes 9. If you read the requirements on the website (and I assume the box) it says that iTunes 9 is needed :shrug:

Wait for msn to get updated, or just message everyone by hand telling them what you're listening to.

If you're on Windows just go to default programs and change it to iTunes 9. It may have changed by itsself to WMP somehow.

If you're on a Mac then just make sure that MSN has the option selected to show what iTunes is playing.

did this to me, after a format it fixed but, obv that isnt an option for you (i have to format anyway)

Ditch iTunes and use Sharepod.

Works fine for me, i have the latest version of both iTunes and msn.

Try reinstalling msn, that might fix it.

Why do you need everyone to know what your listening too?
