Itunes Alternative

Just got the Mrs a Nano for Xmas and i need an alternative so i can out some tunes on there for her

Thing is Itunes is such a pain it constantly tries to copy my folders to her Ipod

Is there a nice alternative so i can just slap the ones i need to on hers?
