iTunes alternative

For simple music transfer, is there a free alternative to iTunes that you guys would recommend.
I have just received a iPod Nao 2gig as a pressie and would prefer to keep to a windows based drag and drop type software. If is is possible, do I still have to install iTunes for charging or anything else?

Real player does it, winamp does it, meh, and some other stuff does it too. 9I forgot which ones though)

I've found the simplest to use is iTunes though.

Yeh ive found iTunes to be the easiest too, altho Winamp is alright aswell!

I'd say iTunes is the best for overall management of the iPod but I play songs from my iPod using Winamp

If you're talking easy, try Vpod. If you're not transfering millions of songs, its the easiest piece of software I've used for Ipods.
