itunes and ipod help

Hey guys,

I've recently just updated my itunes from 8.whatever to the latest 9.whatever.
Now I've just gone to sync my ipod to my itunes and it's no longer got that option to do it and I can only eject the ipod.

Now it's not in my best interests to lose my collection on their nor is it really an option to use other software.

Any ideas as to how I can get this updated before my long train ride tomorrow?
