iTunes and new computer

Hey all
I'm moving to a new computer soon and would like to know what to do about iTunes songs that I purchased. Will they re-download onto my new computer when I sign in to my account on it? Or will I need to backup all the music? - If so, how?
 
I dont think that the account will reload the songs. IIRC then you will need to back up the songs, re-establish you account on the new machine and then load the songs back on to the library.

I have never done this but I have authorised several machinges to my itunes account and then transfered purchased songs between them.
 
Remember that DRM tracks can only be played on 5 different devices.
So remember to "deactivate" your current computer.
Then simply backup all of the music files and copy them onto your new machine.
Import them into iTunes on your new machine and then activate your new machine to play the DRM tracks...job done.
