iTunes and XP64

I'm having issues with iTunes and Windows Xp 64-bit, it installs fine but will not run, it crashes immediately and brings up the Windows error reporting dialog.

I'm all out of ideas, has any one else had problems and if so is there a cure?

I recommend downloading Winamp and the ipod plugin for the time being until they get it fully supporting XP 64.

My mate had it working, from what i've read it seems that the new version of quicktime has broken it.

Mine works fine and always has done on X64 for around half a year now.
