Hey guys, ran into what i suspect is an unsolvable problem but hope one of you can help. Ive recently bought an ipod touch 4g. so i fire up itunes (which was previously used to sync an old ipod for my mother) buy a pile of apps and sync it up and go on holiday.
I find out on holiday that it has sync'd all my mothers music to the ipod aswell, loads of carp i dont want. It also turns out that half the library is absent anyway as files have moved or been deleted. So i look online for help clearing the library.
Im told to delete the library files from the users directory which i do and sure enough itunes loads up fresh and i rebuild a proper library. I then import all my ipa's and im good to go, but now if i plug in the ipod to sync apps it tells me it will delete all the apps and their data and replace them with (the exact same) apps from the library. Thus i will lose all my saves i assume, 100's of hours of monkey island, planbts vs zombies, final fantasy etc!
Surely theres another way! Is there?
