iTunes clean up?

I deleted a load of folders of music I no longer want, is there a way of iTunes recognizing this and deleting them from my library or do I have to do it manually?

Yeah noticed that, wish you could sort it by the exclamation marks but you can't

Delete the iTunes Library file, restart iTunes and let it populate a new one

No, not only a faff on but also I don't want to lose my most played tracks etc.
