iTunes + Creative Vision:m

My mum has a creative vision:m and has bought and downloaded some songs using itunes. However, the downloaded files won't transfer onto the creative player. I'm guessing they're either a special Apple file or are protected?

Is there anyway to get them to work?
Or can the files be downloaded in mp3 format? and unprotected?

If nothing can be done to get the files to work on the creative player, what other music download software is there that will download files that will play on the creative players?

iTunes will only send music to their iPods or iTunes device/phone, as they're protected. You can convert them to mp3, but we can't discuss it here as it is illegal.
 
ok, that's what I thought.

Will I need to find somewhere that will download the files in mp3?
