Not sure what's going on, I've had Itunes 64-bit working with Windows 7-64 bit, not long ago - but went to reinstall today and I get the error message

"C:\Users\Itunes64setup.exe is not a valid Win32 Application"

I read on another forum it might be to do with a corrupt install and recommended re-downloading and trying downloading using a different browser. I've have tried both but still get the same error message, also tried running as admin etc...

Any ideas please?

Could it be because you're running it from the C:\Users folder? Try running setup from your desktop or a folder inside your own user area rather than from the parent folder. I dunno. Just a thought.

I am running it from the desktop, sorry didn't type the full path, full path is c:\users\leviathon\desktop.

I had a similar problem, uninstalled Itunes and quicktime,
re-installed again and it was fine.

Mine won't even install :(

The error message I get is when I double click the installer to actually run it to install, not sure what it is tbh - strange.

I get this, the only solution for me was to reinstall windows. I've since wiped my machine again and it won't work this time. Sod doing it again, I'll just have to survive without an iphone backup.

p.s I hate apple.

*edit*

I've just tried again, works this time. Though it did want to install in program files x86. Choosing to install in normal program files has worked.
