iTunes file location.

Okay so i do the standard edit>prefrences>advanced and change the file location to my normal HDD.
But every time i connect my iPad it insists on copying all the apps to my SSD, and i only have 3gig left on it and for the life of me i can't make it stop doing it and it requires me to resync it all again every time i connect it.

I also bought a TV series and was half way downloading when i wiped my itunes folder and now it doesn't show up as purchased and has gone completely, brilliant.
