Itunes for Windows

This is the biggest bug bear of owning Apple hardware i.e. my iPod and iPhone. I hate iTunes with a passion, it's slow & buggy and offers nothing comparable with other vendors.

Am I right in thinking that it does not watch folders. i.e. I have a network drive M:\ that contains just my music.

Should I add new music to this drive, I have to manually copy the folder into iTunes to pick this up.

Am I missing something??

I'm pretty sure there's a setting to tell it to link to a certain directory on your hard drive.

Yeah, go to EDIT > Preferences > Advanced

I prefer to do it all manually
