iTunes/Front Row Problem

After plugging in an old iPod, it has managed to somehow sync an old podcast with my iTunes library. Now this podcast is not on my machine, and it does not say it is on my machine in iTunes. However Front Row is saying that it is, but cant find the file.

Now i know its only a small problem, but one i find annoying none the less. Any idea how i could clear it off? I've tried re-downloading the very episode of the podcast, hoping it would like it so i could then delete it. All that did was make 2 copies of it in Front Row though.

Any help would be great lads.

I've just noticed this has happened to me as well.

I've not plugged in an "old" iPod though, it's my current one.

iTunes is showing 6 podcasts on the left hand side, but in the playlist windows it's only showing 1 of them.

When I go into Front Row it's showing 8 Podcasts and they all play!

Very Strange!

Any idea what we can do to sort it?

Right,

Having a scout around on the Mac it looks like it's iTunes that's at fault, the option for delete a podcast after it's been played is enabled but it only removes the podcast from the library and doesn't delete the file itself.

To remove the file go to
Macintosh HD > Home Folder > Music > iTunes > iTunes Music > Podcasts

You should see all of the previous podcasts in there, just delete them and voila, Front Row is now up to date :)

See ive already checked that mate. Files not there, and it even says the file isnt there if i try and open it in Front Row.
