iTunes help - Backup?

My iTunes seems dead
Everytime I open it an error occurs, I think I need to reinstall iTunes, however I have spent the past month organising all my music etc. Is there a file I can retrieve for the iTunes folder that backs my library up? With play count info etc?

Wherever you keep your iTunes music library there will be a folder called 'iTunes' in it. Backup that folder as well as your music and you'll be fine .

Thanks, I take it that will back up my play count of songs etc too then?

Use robocopy to mirror the contents of your itunes folders to another drive and then schedule it to run once a week or everyday etc etc.
