Am I going mad ?

was asked by my boss to help him get his cd's onto his IPOD.

Simply enough I thought , but I could not find an option to copy straight from the cd onto the Ipod ?

I had to copy it onto his pc , the synch it across ?

Any help greatly appreciated !!

IRC - Load up ITunes, insert CD, wait for CD Icon to appear (top right?) and click on it, the CD should be imported to Library. Then you sync (manual or auto depending on settings)

This is from memory about 8 months ago when I added my library on- Hopefully it still stands!

**edit look in preferences and the Advanced tab
 
Thanks for that.

What I am trying to do is cut out the 1st stage of copying the cd's onto the PC and then having to synch with the Ipod.

So straight from CD to IPOD.
