Itunes - Help

Hi all,

I use itunes on winxp , but since i have a mac lappy + a new ipod id thought id use this insted , anyway i cant seem to get itunes to auto search my hdd to get all the music on to my music list.

can anyone tell me how its doing my head in ;/

I used an app called Senuti. Sync your entire iTunes library to the iPod on the Windows box, then connect the iPod to the Mac. Senuti will copy all the music off the iPod and into iTunes whilst preserving the Playlists, ratings and last played information. I then nuked the iPod, reformatted as HFS+ and sync'd everything back from the Mac, which is optional. FAT32 will work on the Mac.

It might also be possible to copy the iTunes database and the files off the PC to the Mac, but you'd have to be handy with XML.
