i cant open itunes, get an error message saying that there is a problem with my audio configuration, its only started doin this since i restored my pc couuld this be a driver problem?

I would re-install the sound card drivers. If it still doesn't work, re-install iTunes.

I've only had this error message when accessing iTunes through remote desktop because the sound was disabled.
