Hey guys,

Would really appreciate any advice on this!

Basically ive just bought a microserver to use as a squeezebox/itunes server. Im going to run windows 8 on it so home sharing can be used however id like to share out both my dads and my own itunes libraries at the same time to be used on separate apple tvs, is there any way to accomplish this?

Ideally i dont want to merge the two libraries under one itunes as his collection of music is pretty hefty!

Cheers :)

Do you mean have your library and his on the server, but still separate? If so, I think the only way you could do that would be to run another instance of iTunes through a VM. Is that the kind of thing you're after?

edit: also if it is, this does mean another copy of Windows will be required.

apart from the described above you would need to merge the 2 libraries.

you can keep the music seperate by using playlists.

you can run 2 libraries on the same computer but you have to manually switch between them so its not any good for a server type system.
