iTunes Home Sharing help

Hi all.

I've just got an Apple "Remote" App on my iPhone. As the name suggests I can control my iTunes on my PC from the phone.

Whilst dicking about with this I discovered Home Sharing in iTunes.

I've read the Apple help doc called Understanding Home Sharing, but I still don't quite get it. It says I can stream music between computers. I assume the iPhone is classed as a computer?

Here's the scenario. PC with iTunes library upstairs. B&W iPod dock downstairs in gym. Am I able to stream my entire iTunes library to my iPhone downstairs using this Home Sharing? Obviously the iPhone only has limited capacity, and my wife and I have very different music tastes!

Yes, you can do that.

I've just set it up on my iMac and iPhone. You pick which library to use on the remote computer/iPhone, and it streams as necessary.
