I recently wanted to format my PC. Itunes was saved to the d: and the formatted OS drive was c:

After the format, I installed Itunes and chose the old folder as the library.
Itunes opened with all the iphone apps i had bought and it looked fine.
However, now when i connect my iphone with itunes, it requires the "sync" box to be synced under apps. However if i do this, my iphone will be formatted and all the app data lost.
How do I save my app data on the iphone but sync it with the itunes library?
