iTunes > iPhone streaming music?

I know of Simplify (which I bought) but the app is now dead, so does anyone know of a way to stream music in iTunes on your PC to your iPhone?

I've tried a myriad of different methods, and the best so far is using a subsonic server with Z-subsonic.

Subsonic is a free web-based media streamer, the files are available at subsonic.org. The iPhone app cost a few quid, iirc.

If you want to try it, make sure you get z-subsonic and not iSub.. iSub only allows streaming over wifi, whereas z-sub streams over 3G/edge, and has better buffeting and cache in my experience.

I use a fuppes linux media server and an app called AirPlayer...

Took a little config to get going but I love it now

Or you can try Plex or Audiogalaxy - both new to the music streaming iPhone scene.

Works over 3g as well. Just tried it out tonight, seems very good, covers what AirVideo does for me, and streams music too.
