itunes & ipod question

hay people,
this may sound like a silly question but how do i remove all the songs off my ipod mini,just wonded cus i have never removed any songs of it b4. but now i need to cuty down on space so i want to compleatle remove all the songs and start again from scratch.

Connect your iPod, go into iTunes, click on your iPod library, Ctrl+A, Delete.

Download that, click update, then restore. Fully updates your software and wipes it
