Itunes keyboard shortcuts

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't sure.

I have the latest Itunes on my Windows 7 PC. I previously used Windows media player but I bought an ipod so switched to itunes.

My keyboard is a Logitech illuminated keyboard and it has some function buttons for controlling music (next song, pause, previous etc).
Now, this worked fine for WMP, but with itunes it only works if the window is in focus, which is very irritating.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

I have a similar issue swapping mouses. The older mouse didn't need iTunes in focus when changing songs using the buttons on the mouse the newer one does. No idea if this can be changed.

Installing the Logitech software seems to have fixed it. Shame a great big icon now appears on the screen when I press a media key...

But i guess that will do
