iTunes Library and Settings issues.

Hey guys,

Does anyone else get the following issues...

1. Randomly when starting your PC the next day after turning off your PC the night before, iTunes starts as if it's never been opened before, even though you've got 100's or 1000's of songs on it. Which means, you have to change all your view settings, burning preferences etc, all over again.

2. Upon opening iTunes, it starts loading all the songs into the library as if it hasn't done it before, and if you cancel it, you have to add all your songs again (still in the place on your hard drive you left them) and do the artwork etc all over again.

3. Any and all of the above all together, or at differing periods... FOR NO REASON.

This really frustrates me as i have a rather large iTunes library of about 9000 or so songs, so having to fiddle with my beloved collection again and again does my head in!

Anyone know of any solution to this? :(

Sounds like its either iTunes (likely) or your computer is using system restore for some reason (maybe a virus). But it shouldn't be doing that, still i'll use this oppurtunity to tell you to take a GOOD look at MediaMonkey, which really is something special :)

MediaMokey is a very good dukebox software program, a-like to iTunes, and once set up can sync with your iPod (as can winamp though) in some much better ways, play your music better and keep track of your music better than iTune EVER could.
