iTunes locking ID3 tags?

Has anyone noticed in the latest version of iTunes you can't edit information for some songs, not purchased songs just normal MP3s and AACs? I can't add lyrics, edit artist/album etc. Any idea why?

No problems here.

I'm running version 7.5.0.20 which I assume is the latest version :confused:

check the files aren't set to read-only in explorer? i don't know what else would cause that??

It could be that they have media protection or are set to read only.
