I have been a long time edit meta data before adding tracks to iTunes user.
Mainly because I knew iTunes, never actually put that edited meta data into the original file and only stored it in its library file.
I noticed when I added artwork to a film in iTunes just now that my orginal file was updated.
Is this how music files now work?
Does all metadata edited from within iTunes now update the original file?
