Hi Guys,
i currently have my iPhone syncing with my iMac but a few months back i got a MacBook Pro and want to be able to sync my iPone with my MacBook Pro. The trouble is i have downloaded loads of games, apps, music and movies on my iMac and my iPhone.

How do i go about syncing my iPhone with my MacBook without loosing all my data.

You can't. An Ipod can only sync to one library and if you try to sync to a different one you will indeed lose everything from the first one.

You can combine libraries in some way or other, assuming you still have the Imac, but I don't know much about that. If you have some kind of network drive or something (time capsule?) you can put the one library on there, use it on both Macs, and then sync to either and it'll work.

You can sync iPods with different computers, iPhones is something else I think they are linked to just one computer AFAIK.

Hi guys,
I just wanna start syncing with my MacBook and stop using the iMac.

I was thinking of using iTunes own backup service to backup all my purchases onto disk then move them all onto my MacBook. Then when i sync my iPhone, yes it will wipe it but i was gonna reset it anyway then reinstall all the apps
