Hi All,

Current setup is...

Macmini 2011, Time Capsule 3TB, library stored on the TC.

For some reason, and its happened 3 times now, iTunes keeps changing the location of my library off the specified directory on the time capsule, and back onto the Mac Mini.

I have _No_ idea why it keeps doing this. All I can guess is the connection to the Time Capsule is somehow dropping out.

Has anyone ever had this? whats the cause?

Do you have your *library* files on the TC or just the "iTunes Media" folder?

I have an issue where if my second HD is not mounted and I launch iTunes and import something, it changes the iTunes Media folder to the SSD and imports there.

I'm going to make a script so that if I launch iTunes it mounts the HD. (Ejecting the HD puts it to sleep and saves a good 30-60 mins on battery life you see).

I thought I had all the files.

I've just swapped the whole library to a USB attached drive instead of the TC and its done exactly the same thing. I leave the mac on 24/7 with iTunes open so my ATV can get at the library... I wonder if the discs are falling asleep and when iTunes doesn't get a response it just bins back to the default?

Ok, on top of this, my machine now keeps flashing up saying network connection interrupted and shows the 'Data' Volume on my time capsule as the connection that has gone.

I'm sure I must just be being retarded here, but a bit of guidance would be great !
