Hi guys,

Recently purchased an iphone so I need to go back to itunes (bad times). I was wondering, can you change the output device to say digital output? Much like you can do with media monkey / wmp.

I've tried looking around, it seems like you can do it on mac but I can't find anything on Windows. I'd rather not change my default device to digital because then everything comes out of the amp (games / teamspeak etc).

Cheers,

Marc

just because you installed itunes to sync stuff with your iphone doesn't mean you have to use it to playback your files. or am i missing something here?

This is true but I it would just be easier if I could just use one program and have everything sorted :)

I didn't know if I was just overlooking an option. It seems strange that they wouldn't include it, nearly every program that uses sound normally allows you to choose what device you want to use.

Cheers,

Marc

This isn't possible with iTunes itself, there are some apps around they let you change the output device per app or more easily though. Can't think of any names, been a while since I used one.

You can't do a lot with iTunes. I have a ION Turn Table for playing my records via my computer, but it will only copy to iTunes, and you can't burn a CD in iTunes.:(

Yand you can't burn a CD in iTunes.:(

you certainly can , although im not at the computer with itunes on to get the exact details

i 'think' you just put what you want burning to a playlist then right click the playlist in the left menu bar and click burn to disc

ive burnt many a ripped vinyl using itunes

Yeah, you just save the songs into a playlist and then right click "burn playlist to cd".

Also, cheers for the answer on output devices.

I use coastal audio changer to switch between devices, it's just a shame that I can't output simultaneously (teamspeak and games on headphones - music on av receiver) :)

I see what you mean, but only on folder in Playlist will let me do it, and that is Top 25 most played. It will have to do until I find some better software my ION turntable.
