Afternoon all,
Im trying to work out if i should get rid of iTunes/my music library off my main PC, and just use it off my media server (which i RDP too).
The point being that i could get shot of my external mirrored USB HDD on my main PC that stores my music and save a bit of power too.

I take it that if i keep iTunes in both places that i can 'share' the library off my media server and iTunes on my main PC, which'll have no local library, will perform reasonably fine?
My iPad would sync off the server too.

Anyone done nout like this and care to comment?

Thanks in advance all. :)

I keep my library on a NAS, have iTunes acting as a music server on my HTPC and then share the library with iTunes on another PC. I also sync my iPod with iTunes on my HTPC.

Works fine and was simple to setup.
