Itunes podcast question

I've been subscribed to a podcast for a while now and have been listening to some older episodes, but now all of a sudden when I go to check for any to download their all gone. I've right clicked on the podcast to show all available shows and that doesn't seem to work.

Its strange because it used to show podcasts dating back to when the show started in 2010 or 2009. Now whenever I look up the show on itunes theres only 13 current episodes.

I've tried unsubscribing then subscribing again but that doesn't work. Removed itunes and reinstalled and that doesn't work either.

Any ideas guys?

It's up to the podcaster to determine which shows are available and for how long. Penny Arcade haven't released a podcast in 3 years, but you can still download all their episodes. Giant Bombcast has all theirs available, going back years. Answer Me This regularly reduce the number available for free in their back catalogue and instead sell the old episodes. Radio 4 Comedy only ever have the most recent episode available for download.
