iTunes Q

Sure it's not an updated version of the one you had? Fairly sure some games will charge you for an update regardless of whether you're new to it or have an older version...

On my iPhone, if I have deleted something, or maybe restored my phone and I want to download the app again (paid for) I download it from the app store on my phone and it says 'are you sure you want to purchase xxxxxx for £1.99' I press yes, then it pops up and says, 'you have already purchased this item, to download again click yes'.

Dunno if its the same for iPod.

So even if it tells you you need to purchase it again, press continue and it should download/tell you its free.

I never had that problem before. Do mind that you need to Autorise your Computer and then log on with your iTunes store credentials to be able to use all the stuff that has DRM on it...

And this is why i don't buy from iTunes.

I'd rather a physical media format (i.e. disc) than a terribly encoded, lossy, DRM'd file.

Tip: Don't forget to "Authorise" your machine, or you won't be playing any backed up / bought media. That includes items that were legally purchased.
