any ideas please

seems to have effected last 3-4 updates for me

basically - 80% of time - no issues at all

but competely randomly - you'll click on a media file to playback (be it a podcast a video etc) and either:

(1) it doesn't start playing, and Itunes becomes un-responsive (can't click on anything in Itunes at all - its likes its crashed) - after about 50-60 seconds - file starts playing and Itunes unlocks

(2) file starts playing audio wise, but Itunes becomes un-responsive - again like its crashed, but again after 50-60 seconds comes back to life

whilst Itunes has "hung" you can carry on using all other windows programs with no issue - so the whole computer has not hung

and as I said 80% of the time - everything plays back fine

just get these random occurences - say twice a day or so

any ideas please ?

Might just be a corrupt update that you got, meaning when you got an update it didn't
install properly.

Personally the 1st thing I would do is to un-install iTunes and then install it again, but make
sure you download the setup file from the Apple site so you have the latest version.

Should be easy enough for you to put your library back together again if you know were
your library file is.

hope this helps.
