Hello to you all. Ive religulously stalked this forum for years but this is my first post in years .
So I have iTunes on my SSD and library transfered no problem. On playing my music the problem arises. When I change tracks the new track starts but I hear a blip of the old track at the very beginning. Weird thing is that it will not do it if I leave it to shuffle (loading into memory?) Tried reinstalling iTunes, sound card drivers ect. System consists of Maximus gene v, i5, asus dx2, 680 GTX, 8Gb corsair vengence memory. Im really stuck with this and usually figure things out myself but this time I need all your collective brains.

I've tried windows media center but its very slow to respond and get the spinning blue circle as it thinks about it. iTunes is really snappy though but just with the blip.

Latest development. Took out my D2X and booted. Windows found its own drivers for the onboard sound. When i ran iTunes it was perfect. It must be some kind of driver clash????????? Not sure where to go from here though.

Thanks for the suggestions bloodiedathame. Its fixed. Uninstalled drivers, removed card, stopped windows trying to help (which it so didnt), downloaded software to find all running drivers and delt with them. Cheers my itch has gone...
... until next time:D:D:D
