iTunes tags

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but i figured iTunes = Apple so i'll give it a go.

Basically, i'm still on Windows (i know ), and have all my music in iTunes. However, i would like all my music to have all the correct tag information, for all the tags that are available in iTunes. Is there a program that will allow me to do this? Or will I have to do it all manually?

You can do it pretty easily within iTunes. Right click a song--->Get Info--->Info. Then fill in the info. Then you can do the rest of the songs by clicking next at the bottom.

Although that may be a bit long winded if you have a lot of songs. I'm not sure of any software that can do it for you though.

I believe some software can auto-complete some missing info based on ID3 tags alone, which is what he's looking for.

I prefer to edit the info as you've explained though Justin

Cheers Justin, yeh i know you can do that, but when I have 2500 tracks all with missing information, it gets a bit long winded.

I was hoping for a piece of software to do it for me, much like the software available to import album art.

You could try this which can do it in batches or this one does it automatically but don't know how good it is.
