iTunes - transfer to new PC

Hi,

Have just bought a new laptop and want to transfer my wife' ipod nano from the desktop to the laptop.

I know that there is an iTunes folder in her profile in My Music.

If I was to install iTunes on the laptop and then copy over the whole folder from her profile on the desktop to the laptop - will it all work or am I missing something.

Its only 3.5 GB so not a massive collection or anything.

Simply copy your entire music collection (including the 'iTunes' folder in My Music or Music) over to the same directory on your new PC and point iTunes to the library location, if it's in the default place (My Music\iTunes) then it'll find all your music, playlists automatically.

Or use the backup option within Itunes.
