Looking for an iTunes expert
Ripping my hair out over this at the moment.
So, we have a single Windows 8 based PC. On this PC there are two seperate user accounts, let us call them:
User1
User2
Each user would like to use iTunes on the computer, however each would like to maintain their own library and each have their own iTunes account.
So, what we want is:
User1 logs into Windows and runs iTunes. He is logged into the Apple store with User1 Apple ID. His library is available for him to use.
User2 logs into Windows and runs iTunes. He is logged in to Applle store with his own ID, not the same as User1's and his library is available to him.
At the moment we hit problems. User1 logs in, connects to iTunes and logs in as himself. Downloads all of his purchases from Apple and they play just fine.
User2 logs into Windows, runs iTunes and logs into it with her ID. When she tries to play or download her own purchases she gets a message about "this computer has been registered to a different Apple ID" and she cannot download anything - despite the fact she's logged into Windows as a different user.
Anyone point me in the direction of what I need to do?
