After having googled this and tried to understand what's happening I feel like giving up.
The wifi sync function simply doesn't work with itunes. My touch remains connected and shows it's syncing in itunes but when I look at my touch it doesn't show it's syncing.
This causes itunes to hang for around 2-3 minutes after which I get an error code.
I can then no longer remove the touch from iTunes. I have to close itunes which takes about 90 seconds to shut down.
I've tried also connecting manually this works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't recognise my touch for about 10 minutes so I have to plug it in 3-4 times before it works.
Now when I buy something I get this very strange message
I've been using this PC and device for 2 years now!
Also can someone tell me where the prefs are to refresh the podcasts? When I open itunes it doesn't download new podcasts I have to do it manually every time
