Only just started syncing and importing files. The thing is if I remove a number of files from Itune, which I had previously imported into the Iphone, it also removes the same files from the phone when you resync again. Anyway to prevent the deletion of the files from the Iphone when repeating the above? ( Hope I am making sense? Thanks

I think what I was trying to say (and failed) was if any of the content that was previously in Itunes is no longer there, then after a resync, Itunes also deletes it from the phone as well?

It's called a sync for a reason you know

Tick 'manually manage music' and it should leave everything alone.
