So I need to downsize my pc as my "office" is moving from the spare room to under the stairs
Im pretty certain I've decided on the node 202. Seems to fit the bill for the size I'm looking for and budget. Any smaller Dan A4 or Dr zaber is too expensive (unless anyone has any other recommendations?)
I want to go amd this time round so that narrows it down and budget constraints basically gives me the b450 as my best option
GPU for now I will have to keep my 780ti (unless I can find a decent amount of parts 2nd hand to bring the costs down) 5600xt seems to be the best budget/performance right now???
CPU wise I'm looking at the 2600 initially although I'm led to believe the cheaper 1600 is the same(this will be upgraded in time to a 3 series but trying to keep costs lower initially) coming from a 4670k
Ram I'm looking at 3200mhz or would it be worth trying to get something a little faster?
HDD wise. I have 2 ssds at the moment and a 2tb HDD 3.5" which I use a lot. Ssd's are only 250 and 120gb so not a lot of room. I think I would keep the 250 and maybe get an m.2 and a 2.5" mech drive.
I do have a 10tb server which I can store files on but obviously not games.
CPU cooler I was hoping the stock one would be man enough but I'm not sure it would? Anyone confirm? Noctua l9 or cryorig c7 seems to be used a lot in node 202 builds.
PSU. Now here's the sticking point. Some people seem to use the SF450 as it's the cheapest but is it going to be man enough?? SFX PSUs are so expensive.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.
