My friend wants a PC for gaming, I've got a Hadron Air I can give him. So the £400 budget just covers a GPU, a CPU, RAM, ITX board, and a drive.

Just wanted to see what you could come up with, I've already had a look about and think I've managed to do well. Can't go into detail as some competitors.

That looks a similar spec to what I had in mind, except I had an i3 + a cheap H81 board as well as a 760.

He won't be overclocking and frankly I can't be bothered tweaking it for him :p, so an i3 would probably be a better choice? I did consider the Pentium.

Also, I could save about £60 by going with a locked Pentium on a cheap board. Would this give a bad performance drop compared to the i3?

Well since the Pentium may as well be locked since I won't be overclocking it, I'll go for an i3. The rest looks great, thanks.
