hi all, I was in the process of building a gaming PC with ATX mobo etc but I got carried away and really need to keep cost down so i'm going a different direction.

I will be selling my MSI gaming motherboard and my HAF case and getting an ITX case (Coolermaster 120 Elite)

My question is regarding the build, this is going to be my first build, just wondered if anyone can help with componants - i'd really like to stay below £500 all in.

Games I want to play are:
BF3 (not maxed)
Diablo 3 (as fast as possible)
Kartracerpro (or similar racing sim)
Crysis 3 (probably quite slow as i hear it's a beast of a game)
Starcraft 2 (as fast as possible)

I'm going to be using the PC as a media centre in the lounge which is why i'm opting for the smaller case over my current mid tower.

any advice would really be welcomed - don't really want to change the case from an ITX

noted, however I'm really not likely to overclock :/ i'd love to say yeah i'm going to do it but I won't....really won't just want a good small PC to play the games I like and watch TV through that really is all I want.

that looks a good build to me! I have a DVD drive so can save a little there not much though obviously.

I have wondered about a SSHD drive that seagate do over a HDD and SSD and for £60 you get 500GB which might be ok for my uses...i'm guessing.

Oh god me too. I don't think I need to add a TV card really, the TV I use has freeview build in so it's a little wasteful and space will be at a premium in the case.

I like the idea of a SSD, would I be better off upping to say £650, dropping the HDD and just having a 256gb SSD for example? it really is only for games, so just a case of having enough space for Win7 and the games I don't really save much else
