Iv got designers block

create another div and call it left or right and float it right in the CSS.

Give it a different colour and make it say 150px wide and keep it within the main content div but after the centre div (what ever holds your main page content).

Should look something like this. Think I got the idea from somone on here but never used it.

How about this??

ignore colors/headings/fonts etc for the moment, lets get the layout sorted :)

smart - good one ;)

Dont feel you have to make the same height as the rest though as you may struggle to fill it all and white space looks out of place

I'll keep working on this and post any changes in here!

I couldnt image having that sidebar any lower to fill space would look right though  only one way to find out though!

No, that looks fine. Try and align the top of the border with the text in the main div though (personally I think that would like OK). Remember, the bottom border will move with the text unless you control it with padding so less text equals an overall smaller 'frame'.

Looking good though
