Wehey, thought sod it. I really enjoy the show and its near to me soon!

The 2 questions i've put forward are:

1) With the lack of availability for 1 bedroom homes and the recent high court ruling over the bedroom tax, its now made social housing unaffordable. This ultimately increases homelessness and adds further pressure to local authorities and national debt. Does the panel think it’s time to re-look at the fairness of this tax and time we stopped forcing the most poor amongst us to foot this austerity bill. Perhaps the government can come up with a “we’re all in this together” attitude.

2) With the recent farce and unethical practises shown by multinational companies, what does the panel think of the future proposal for the UK to enter into the TTIP? Mr Cameron can barely secure us a token gesture from Europe. So handing substantial powers to these companies seems like a disastrous plan.

Anybody here been on the show before, not sure if i will get accepted let alone be allowed to ask the above questions! Hope it get in tho, not ever day you get the chance to make a complete **** of yourself on Live TV :D

The bedroom tax has been done to death on question time.

The questions people ask are always very topical. So unless there's something in the news that week which is specifically related to your questions, they won't feature.

I've been on question time, it was in the local area of Hartlepool several years ago. It use to be that everyone in the audience would meet somewhere in the hall/room with the news being shown on TV`s for inspiration I guess.

Two question had to be submitted and a panel chose the best, I unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to ask a question within the show but did raise my hand up and put my point across which was during the gulf war crises at the time.
The one thing that amazed me was how friendly the panel where to each other until the cameras where put on then they all stabbed each other in the back. Two faced the lot of them.

It is recorded just before its put out on the TV, so I managed to drive home and watch myself looking fat and sweaty :(
The camera does add an extra couple of pounds........... honest.

I was in the audience a few years ago and before filming started they asked for volunteers to come up and be a mock panel to test everything, which I got chosen for - that was fun :D

It's not being two faced it is doing their job. You can criticise other people's policies passionately but remain professional and friendly afterwards because you know you both do the same job.

Shorter questions do better. If a long query does get through, there's so much room for manoeuvre you might as well ask the panel to talk for a bit about their fav topic.

As for being on telly: don't concentrate on the cameras, decide on what you are going to say in advance, stick to your inner script and hold eye contact with the person you're addressing. Should keep the nerves down. If all else fails, pretend everyone else is naked!

This. This had to be the first response :D

We're not interested in what you're doing as long as you give a shout-out to OcUK :p

My brother spotted someone at one Question Time using the OcUK forums (he was involved in internet provisioning on some locations).
