I am still torn between the 2

Ipad Air 2 or Mini 3...

One side of me fancy going for something a bit smaller since i have own a big iPad since day one....

Other side of me thinking i may like the speed and performance of the Air 2 if it seen by eyes.

I think cos we got the iPhone 6 which is pretty snappy at things I am worried since the mini 3 got the A7 chip instead of the A8 like the Air 2 and iPhone 6 got I may see a bit of slow speed????

Hope some of you can help;

Have to be a little crazy to get an mini 3 to be honest, when you can get a refurb mini 2 for £200. Even at full price, Touch ID is not worth £80.

The A7 isn't that much slower than the A8, so I wouldn't be too concerned there.

The Air 2 is a huge leap, fastest tablet out there at the moment. That and the bonded display. But it's £400; your call whether or not it's worth it.

I went from a Mini 2 to the Air 2 and its night and day, what a pleasure to use the Air 2 is!

Mini 3 is a horrible product would never touch that. £80 for a glued on touchID is just day light robbery. Get the Air 2 or the Mini 2 tbh. Air 2 offers a better display, A8X is a decent jump forward, 3 cores that are all faster and a beasty GPU, 2GB of ram is awesome love it. As a whole its the best product, but if you don't want to pay for the Air 2 the Mini 2 is the best option.

I'm personally ****ed off as I wanted the Mini 3 but those specs :(.

I went from an iPad 4 to Air 2 - The Air 2 is so small and light in comparison it feels as if I have got a mini iPad. The performance difference is well worth the upgrade IMHO.

Missus just bought an Ipad Air 2 64GB version and she thinks it's so good that she's ordered one for my daughter from a certain supermarket that uses discount. So with her saved up vouchers and a special £40 off at the moment on any tablet over £399, total price for an Ipad Air2 16GB came to £289 :)
