Good Evening all
After Taking a load of advice on the forums and reading quite a few threads ive pretty much got my parts together to do my very first build and id like to begin a build log. only issue i have is i still lack a decent case. My initial idea was to use my existing Akasa eclipse but after seeing some of the fantastic builds i think id like a much more modern look with a window and lights etc.
Here is my parts list
Intel I5-2500K CPU
Asus p8z68 Pro/gen 3
8 Gb of Ripjaw dual memory ( another 8gb on order)
850W OCZ Z series PSU
ASUS GTX 580 Matrix Platinum
1tb Seagate Barracuda HDD
60GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD
2X Samsung Blu-ray/dvd roms
Kone + Mouse
ASUS Xonar Sound Card
Antec 620 CPU cooler.
My Initial thought was a white Cosair 600T as they seem to very popular and reasonably easy to build into since its my first attempt. I was wondering though if the Asus GTX 580's size is a limiting factor and whether i need to go for a full size case.
My other choice was the V2 Raven RV01 which i really like the look of but i noticd that a lot of people mention the RV02 case. should i consider the RV02 over the RV01.
Other than that any other choices and opnions will be gratefully received. apart from the cpu cooler i want to stay aircooled and if possible something that looks smoother than cases like the Haf x with huge amounts of drive bays.
