My AGP fan not working,on mainboard.

I was cleaning it out ready for my new graphics card.Taking of my case fans and moving them around when i noticed my AGP fan wassnt going.
My motherboard is:
Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Model GA-7VAX-A
BIOS Vendor Award Software International, Inc.
BIOS Version F4
BIOS Release Date 08/10/2004
BIOS Properties Plug and Play, Flash, AGP

So i switched off and played with AGP fan to try and stir some life into it, to no avail.
I then switched on and put my hand inside and tryed to get fan going by playing with wire and i accidently touched the graphics card with it turned on.
Now it seems that when i boot up every thing seems fine except that my AGP fan dont work and my XFX 5900xt is a Bus PCI according to nvidia 81.98 driver.

Please help as i want to use my new card 6800gs.
And most importantly "MY WIFES GOING TO KILL ME!!!!!"

agp fan on your mainboard?

do you mean you have onboard gfx?

if so, and you have disabled it for a new gfx card then it may well tun the fan off as it is not needed...

if it just happens to be a fan on the motherboard near the agp slot, then your northbridge fan is dead. no worries, it happens. buy another one.
