I used to HATE Steam and stopped getting new games because of it. Long story but I wanted to play one of my favourite PC games (BLOOD) and the best way I could was to concede defeat and open up a Steam account.

Thanks to Steam I've been able to play some of my favourite games:-
DOOM 3
BLOOD
DOOM 2
again.

Exscuse me, I feel the urge to play Duke Nukem 20th anniversary..

It was the way Steam went about it that drove me away. But things're a lot better now.
So, ADOBE, how about following Steam's example?

The above question's a long story, part of which involved me wanting to put a gun to somebody from ADOBE's head and them having to explain why I had to download a free thirty day trial for ADOBE Photoshop Elements after paying for a licence then spending hours messing about
