I've found something weird on Google Earth

This snapshot is not far from me at all, just above this picture is a dual carriage way which I was following till I saw this.

You can see a number of buildings placed around 2 rectangle shaped roads, which looks like gravel to me.

All of them have a grass hills surrounding them, except the entrace to them.

What do you make of it? Its really interested me...but the only access point seems to go past a building of somesort, before going down the long road to these building.

Also the little ones to the bottom, all 8 of them, seem to have there access path narrowing to each of the buildings? Like its downwards???

A couple towards the top are bigger, but 3 of them the roads leading to em have grown over...

I don't fancy going down there myself, incase anyone is in that building at the beginning of that long access road? Will get a mate or two to come along

Anyone know why there would be a number of buildings arranged like that all with a grass barrier around them?

Could be something as boring as an old landfill, or maybe ex military barracks.

That'd be my guess. Why else would they build grass verges on 3 sides of the building unless they were hiding it from someone. Plus they are placed an equidistance appart, showing a degree of thought and planning. Almost military like I'd say.

Probably some sort of military building, there are some old warehouse type things near a railway line around here that look like that, they do look a bit like aircraft hangers and have the earth piled up around them.

My guess would either be something explosive, kept an equal distance apart so as not to blow the rest up; such as fireworks!

well we need co-ordinates so then we can zoom in a bit more and have a better look. i thought at first they look like houses, but at further look they actually dont but look like warehouses.
