i have quite a high spec pc, i7 950 ud7 mobo haf x tx 850, im thinking of selling it on and starting again and building from scratch with all matching colours and parts

was thinking

i7 2600k
h100 cooler

maybe a nice sleek lian li case etc

what would you guys recommend should i just change the case and cooler ? would i be better just sourcing a colour matching 1366 board ? is it not worth upgrading to sandy tbh ?

just want to build a really nice loooking pc. mines nice but i know that the parts inside arnt colour matching and its doing my head in.

what should i do

i ideally want to buy a modified enermax psu
an ssd and keep my cav black for storage (btw will this make it more quiet as its nto being used for a boot drive this way)
a new case
mobo change
h100 cooler as it really makes things look sleek

hmm what to do

if the "colours" are doing your head in by all means upgrade because there are no other options til thats done.

what colours do you have, i wouldnt upgrade from what you have to sb, just colour match the bits you don't like.

but seriously, and no offence meant, if the colours of your pc innards trouble you that much i'd ask you to try and get a bit of perspective on things.

if you get an ssd, crucial m4 64gb or 128gb version, check the western digital site you might be able to find one of their programs to quieten the black down when using for storage, usually an acoustic setting iirc.

it dosent bother me too much, just i have a fair bit of money and i wanted to start a new project to make my pc look really nice. Give me something to do starting from scratch or something.
